 Communication Interface

TL256S-1 sensor communicates with MCU through a high-speed, full duplex and synchronous SPI interface. 
TLK1NC02 module provides UART/USB interface for external devices.

Bezel Design

TLK1NC02 module is designed with metal bezel connected to the sensor. When sensor outputs RING signal to collect fingerprint image, it requires user’s finger press on sensor and the bezel simultaneously, otherwise the collection will fail. 
In structure, the bezel could not connect DGND or GND, plastic casing is generally used to fix the fingerprint module.

ESD OPTIMIZATION

The module conforms IEC61000-4-2 standard, passes ESD test of air +/- 15KV, touch +/-8KV. Users can further improve antistatic capability to apply to multiple applications by 2 optimizing schemes:

1. Host computer optimizing: connect an inductance (100uH) in series to power supply and a resistance(100Ω) in series to signal line.

2. Software optimizing: add watchdog (software/hardware) to the software.
